The From Heino With Love exhibition featured works from the Heino Art Foundation collection for the first time. The exhibition was held at the Helsinki Art Museum HAM at the Tennis Palace from 8 April until 28 August 2016, and included 111 works by 53 Finnish contemporary artists: paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs.

The From Heino With Love exhibition was visited by more than 41,000 guests over five months. The exhibition drew a lot of media attention and it was also highly praised on social media.

The Heino Art Foundation collection was built by Raimo and Raini Heino and their son, the gallerist Rauli Heino, and it is one of Finland’s foremost private collections of contemporary art. The collection has 1416 works of art by 223 artists and they date from the 1950s to the present. All the artworks in the collection have been selected by the Heinos themselves, based on their common preferences and passion and love for art. The exhibition promoted Heino Art Foundation's efforts to draw attention to private support for art and its importance in society, as well as to stir debate about these issues.

The exhibition highlighted the topical nature of the collection and it was curated by HAM curators Jari Björklöv and Mikko Oranen. The exhibition architecture was designed by Hannele Grönlund.

The exhibition also featured a documentary about the Heino Art Foundation, the works collected by Raimo, Raini and Rauli Heino and how the collection began. The documentary was commissioned by the Heino Art Foundation and produced by Jan Ijäs.

The exhibition was organised by HAM and the Heino Art Foundation.
